ArentFox Schiff is seeking an associate to join the 2nd – 5th year associate class for its Private Clients, Trusts & Estates group in our New York or Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have estate planning experience, including drafting, implementing, and administering sophisticated lifetime and testamentary planning strategies and handling estate and trust administration. Responsibilities will include advising high net worth individuals, families, and family offices, drafting wills, revocable and irrevocable trust, and ancillary documents. Further responsibilities will include research and projection of tax implications of planning techniques, preparation of client educational and summary materials, and meeting and communicating directly with clients to advance their goals. The desire to work in a sophisticated environment and the ability to manage multiple projects is paramount. The candidate will be expected to support partners across our platform, not limited to the office in which they are ultimately hired.

The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $225,000 to a maximum of $305,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and the candidate’s overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm.
