Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: market data and ranges; an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience (including class year); and, certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

Denver, CO annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
Boston, MA annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
Los Angeles, CA annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
New York, NY annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
Palo Alto, CA annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
San Diego, CA annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
San Francisco, CA annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
Washington, DC annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a high performer with 3 – 5 years of experience with intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation. They will have:

  • Strong academic credentials in law and undergraduate coursework with an undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (preferred). We may consider other related degrees if the level of work experience is significant and compelling.  
  • A strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for client matters.
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Sound legal and business knowledge in working on a broad spectrum of cases and counseling clients with respect to ongoing matters.
  • Admission to a state bar (required).
