Position: Employment Litigation Associate

Description: The Houston office of Fisher Phillips seeks to hire an associate with 2-5 years of Employment Litigation experience to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with employment litigation experience looking to grow a practice under the mentorship of talented partners. We are looking for the next team member to join our community, someone who thrives in a hybrid work environment, and has a growth mindset.

The ideal candidate will have discrimination experience as well as restrictive covenant experience. Qualified candidates will have experience with litigation matters such as drafting and responding to pleadings, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations and trials.

This means we are looking for attorneys with excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, commitment to and empathy for their fellow team members, and a relentless commitment to personal growth and client service. Successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Admission to the Texas Bar is required.
