Position: Compliance Associate

Description: Love being a lawyer but not litigation? Maybe you have a background in Human Resources or as a teacher? The Fort Lauderdale office of Fisher Phillips seeks a compliance associate with 2-4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience counseling employers on day-to-day employment issues, drafting and reviewing employee handbooks, experience with ADA and FMLA issues, drafting and reviewing employment policies and procedures, drafting separation agreements, as well as preparing and facilitating manager trainings for clients.

This means we are looking for attorneys with excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, commitment to and empathy for their fellow team members, and a relentless commitment to growth and client service. Prior experience with human resources, education, labor, or government contracting is ideal. Successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be admitted in Florida.
