Senior Vice President, Global Diversity and Organization Partnerships

Paula Banks has been named senior vice president, global diversity and organization partnerships for PepsiCo.
In this position, Banks will lead the next phase of PepsiCo’s internal and external efforts to promote diversity and inclusion by developing various internal programs and establishing PepsiCo as a leader in promoting an inclusive work environment.
Prior to her appointment, Banks was senior vice president, social strategy and policy at BP Amoco’s London headquarters, where she was also president of the BP Foundation.
Previously, she had been president of the Amoco Foundation in Chicago, and director of corporate affairs for Amoco.
Prior to that, Banks spent 24 years at Sears, Roebuck and Co. in a variety of positions, including retail management, human resources, external affairs and public relations, and served as president of the Sears Roebuck Foundation.
Banks is a graduate of Loyola University, with post-graduate study at the University of Illinois. She is also a graduate of the International Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.
