Winston & Strawn announced the election of Deborah H. Telman to partner in its Chicago office.
Ms. Telman, a member of the firm’s corporate department, concentrates her practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and corporate finance. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in mathematics.
She received her J.D. from Boston University, where she was an Edward J. Hennesy Scholar. Ms. Telman is the immediate past chairperson and current board member of the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms. In addition, she is a 1999/2000 Fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago and serves on the board of directors of Jamal Place and Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
