Carter DeLorme has been named a partner in Winston & Strawn’s employment relations department.
DeLorme has represented clients’ interests before the NLRB, EEOC, state employment agencies, and in both federal and state court on a wide variety of employment matters.
Additionally, he counsels clients on non-litigation matters that are impacted by federal and state employment laws, as well as matters relating to employee restrictive covenant agreements.
DeLorme also has extensive experience in a variety of litigation matters outside of the employment field, including trade secret litigation, communications, bankruptcy, antitrust, commercial disputes, and other general civil litigation.
He has tried cases in state court, argued an appeal in the D.C. Circuit court, argued several dispositive motions in both state and federal court, and has taken or defended more than three dozen depositions.
DeLorme received a B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995.
