This Corporate Counsel position will have the opportunity to provide critical support to various aspects of the business, focusing on the commercial sales and marketing practice areas.
The Corporate Counsel will join a fast-paced team that works in partnership with Enterprise Mobility’s best-in-class commercial sales teams as we continue to expand our global B2B and B2G commercial offerings and footprint in various areas including rental replacement, business rental, tour/travel/leisure and government contracting.
The Corporate Counsel will also be a key member of the global team providing day-to-day legal support for Enterprise Mobility’s marketing and loyalty efforts, which include protecting and enhancing our world class brands as we participate in various high leverage advertising, sponsorship, promotion and partnership opportunities.
Additionally, the Corporate Counsel will play a role in helping the organization navigate the evolving global landscape of ESG and Sustainability related laws, regulations, and requirements.
This role reports to the Vice President – Associate General Counsel. This is a fantastic role for a candidate looking to join a driven and dynamic team and develop their career in an industry-leading in-house legal function. With the convergence of mobility solutions, the advent of internet-connected vehicles and roll-out of alternative fueled and electric vehicles, the next five (5) years holds the potential to re-write the landscape in traditional vehicle mobility. As the industry evolves, we’ll be embracing new types of business that will require lawyers who are comfortable learning and advising on new areas and coming up with creative solutions to the issues of the day.
The Corporate Counsel must have extensive contracting and transactional law experience as well as experience providing legal guidance for corporate advertising, sponsorship, promotion, loyalty and/or marketing activities. The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and colleagues in the Legal Group, in their areas of expertise, in Europe, the United Kingdom and the US, working on projects globally as part of these cross-departmental functional teams. The selected individual must be collaborative, creative, efficient, personable and results-oriented – with outstanding oral and written communication abilities and the ability to work seamlessly in a fast-paced, team environment.
This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO, with a hybrid schedule (4 days in office).

Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Seven (7) or more years of relevant experience in a business law firm or in a corporate law department with a proven record of professional excellence and achievement
- Extensive transactional law experience, including drafting and negotiating complex contracts and other strategic arrangements
- Advertising, sponsorship, promotion and/or marketing experience
- Admission to at least one state Bar in the United States is required, with the ability to qualify with the Missouri state bar
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Preferred:
- ESG and/or sustainability experience
- Privacy and/or data security experience
