Solomon Wifa has been appointed head of O’Melveny & Myers’s London office. A member of the investment funds and securitization practice, Mr. Wifa has acted on a number of international and domestic private equity, hedge, buyout, mezzanine, and venture capital funds and carried interest schemes. He has advised on a wide range of primary and secondary transactions in private equity and hedge funds, and has also advised on a variety of funds focused on sectors such as renewable energy, real estate, technology, and infrastructure. His expertise extends to fund formation in the emerging economies of Africa, China, and India. Mr. Wifa was educated at the University of Greenwich, London, and qualified as a solicitor in 1999.
