Nixon Peabody LLP announced that Rosalyn P. Mitchell, an experienced commercial litigator, has re-joined the firm’s San Francisco office as counsel in the Business Litigation practice group. She will also be actively involved in Nixon Peabody’s recruiting committee anddiversity initiatives.
Mitchell has represented numerous clients in lawsuits in both federal and California state courts in a variety of commercial litigation matters, including disputes involving real estate property, intellectual property, and employment matters. She has a particularly strong background in handling disability discrimination cases brought under Title III and the Americans with Disabilities Act, and related state statutes.
Prior to joining Nixon Peabody, Mitchell was a litigator at Carroll, Burdick & McDonough LLP and served on the firm’s diversity committee. Prior to that, she was an associate at Lillick & Charles, which merged with Nixon Peabody in 2001.
A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Mitchell earned a law degree from the University of Southern California Law Center.
