Marcus V. Brown has been promoted to vice president and deputy general counsel for Entergy Corporation. Mr. Brown’s new role will include consolidating Entergy’s general commercial litigation group with its property and casualty litigation group. He will have legal-team leadership responsibilities for all non-regulatory litigation matters in the Entergy service territory, which includes Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and portions of the northeast United States. He has been a member of Entergy’s legal department since 1995. Mr. Brown earned his J.D. from Southern University Law Center in 1998, and an M.B.A. from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2002.
