Hinton J. Lucas has been promoted to vice president and assistant general counsel of DuPont Legal. Retaining his current responsibilities, Mr. Lucas will now also serve as DuPont’s representative with key organizations and groups both in the company’s headquarters community and nationally. Mr. Lucas has been with DuPont for more than 30 years, serving in a number of different areas of responsibility. Mr. Lucas’s distinguished record of community service includes board membership of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association. Mr. Lucas manages DuPont Legal’s Pro-Bono program, the DuPont Pipeline Project, and the DuPont Street Law Project. Mr. Lucas received his B.A. from the Hampton Institute (University), his M.B.A. from Central Michigan University, and a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law.
