Dara D. Mann has been named a partner at Faegre & Benson LLP. As a member of the firm’s litigation practice group, she counsels clients primarily in the areas of toxic tort, agribusiness, and products liability litigation.
Mann represents many of the nation’s leading agribusiness and chemical companies in mass tort litigation involving as many as 2,800 personal injury claims resulting from exposure to toxic chemicals.
Mann serves as national counsel for DuPont’s crop protection litigation. She also serves as national counsel for 3M’s vinyl chloride litigation.
Mann is committed to diversity initiatives at Faegre & Benson and in the legal profession. In April 2003, she was named the winner of the “Themis” award by the DuPont Women Lawyers Network at the organization’s fifth annual conference on Women and the Practice of Law.
The “Themis” award is presented annually to the person in the DuPont legal network who best promotes legal excellence through the success, development, and professional advancement of women lawyers. Mann is also involved in several bar associations, including the Gate City Bar Association, the Georgia Women Lawyer’s Association, and the Minnesota State Bar Association.
