Cristina Hernandez–Malaby has been named Latina Attorney of the Year by the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA). The award is given to a Latina that exemplifies the best practices of the legal profession. Ms. Hernandez–Malaby is a member of Quarles & Brady’s litigation group, focusing on complex litigation involving publicly traded companies and financial institutions around the country. She has extensive experience representing her clients in federal and state class actions, securities investigations, litigation, and post–merger disputes. Ms. Hernandez–Malaby’s practice also includes advising clients on electronic document retention and production issues, and representing clients in professional malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract disputes. She earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Harvard-Radcliffe College, and her law degree from Harvard Law School, where she was editor–in–chief of the Harvard Latino Law Review.
