Description: The Portland office of Fisher Phillips seeks to hire an employment litigation associate to join our Employment Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2-4 years of experience looking to grow a practice under the mentorship of talented partners.  We are looking for the next team member to join our community, someone who thrives in a hybrid work environment, and has a growth mindset.

Although we would prefer that you have some experience in employment law, we are also interested in working with and developing talented attorneys who come to us with excellent skills in any litigation arena.  If you have substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law, we invite you to apply.

Typical day-to-day opportunities include working as part of a team handling litigation matters from start to finish, including responding to pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations.  You will work with clients on various day-to-day challenges under all employment laws, drafting/revising handbooks, training, and similar activities.  You will also have the opportunity to educate clients through learning programs geared to guide them through challenging moments with their business using unique technology platforms.  Fisher Phillips is on the cutting edge when it comes to innovation and technology, and we seek team members who are eager to use these platforms.

This means we are looking for attorneys with excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, commitment to and empathy for their fellow team members, and a relentless commitment to growth and client service.  Admission to the Oregon Bar is required.
