The Chicago office of ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking an associate to join the 3rd through 6th year associate class for its Complex Litigation practice group.

The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $240,000 to a maximum of $340,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and the candidate’s overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate would have experience with writing briefs, taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings, drafting affirmative and responsive discovery, and experience with routine and complex filings plus some courtroom experience (handling routine court appearances, arguing motions, and/or presenting witnesses). Strong academic record and excellent electronic data management skills, research, writing, and oral communication skills are required. Illinois bar admission is required.
