Wilson Chu has joined the global law firm of K&L Gates as a partner in the Dallas office. Mr. Chu will concentrate his practice on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. He joins K&L Gates from Haynes & Boone, LLP. Mr. Chu represents clients in a broad range of industries, including Internet, software, information technology, and healthcare. He has significant experience in cross-border acquisitions and global private equity investments, with a focus on trans-Pacific transactions. He is highly regarded for his M&A work on behalf of the American Bar Association´s Mergers & Acquisitions Committee, in particular as the creator of the committee´s M&A Deal Points Studies and as co-founder of its Market Trends Subcommittee. Mr. Chu received his B.B.A. and J.D. from Southern Methodist University.
