Gerry L. Williams has been named partner in the Atlanta office of Lord, Bissell & Brook LLP. A member of the firm’s corporate and securities practice groups, Williams’ practice focuses on corporate finance matters for large institutional and middle-market companies, private equity, and mezzanine funds and banks, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of equity and debt securities, and leveraged buyouts. Williams has also represented franchisers and franchisees in law matters, including structuring and registering franchise programs.
Williams earned a B.B.A. from the University of Georgia, and his juris doctorate from the Indiana University School of Law. He is admitted to the Bar in Texas, Wisconsin, and Georgia, and to the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Williams is an active member of the American Bar Association, the board of directors of the Atlanta Legal Diversity Consortium, and the National Bar Association.
