Position: Patent Associate-Litigation/Chemical

Description: We have an immediate opening in our Alexandria or New York office for a patent associate with a degree in the pharmaceutical or chemical arts. Ph.D. and/or patent agent experience strongly preferred. Candidates should have litigation experience, with ANDA proceedings preferred. Patent drafting and prosecution experience, preferably with respect to pharmaceuticals, is preferred. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, researching and drafting litigation documents, post-grant review documents and opinion letters, as well as patent portfolio analysis, with occasional prosecution. Associate candidates must be admitted in New York or Virginia, and all candidates must be registered to practice before the USPTO.
