Sandra L. Phillips has joined Baker & Hostetler’s Houston office as a partner in the firm’s litigation group. Ms. Phillips will counsel clients primarily in the areas of toxic tort, product liability, and employment litigation. Ms. Phillips represents major oil, gas, and chemical companies as trial counsel in mass tort litigation involving as many as 1300 personal injury claims. She has also represented pharmaceutical companies and companies involved in all phases of employment litigation. Prior to joining Baker & Hostetler, Ms. Phillips was a partner at Shook, Hardy & Bacon. She was also an associate with Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Martin and an attorney with Chevron Corporation’s trial unit. Ms. Phillips is involved in the leadership of several bar associations, and is a recipient of the 2001-2002 Houston Bar Association President’s Award for outstanding service to the community and profession. She earned her law degree from University of Texas School of Law in 1991.
