Samuel M. Reeves has been promoted to vice president, division general counsel for Corporate Affairs & Government Relations for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Previously, Reeves was an associate general counsel at Wal-Mart and was responsible for outside counsel management, diversity initiatives, and attorney recruiting for the legal department.
Reeves joined Wal-Mart in May 2002 as an assistant general counsel in the Tort Litigation group. Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Reeves clerked for Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Tom Glaze and practiced law in Bentonville, Ark.
Reeves earned his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Arkansas and his juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law.
