Mujadala “MJ” Abdul-Majid is a Corporate Counsel at Amazon where she focuses on regulatory intelligence, compliance, and strategic engagement while supporting the North American retail business. Ms. Abdul-Majid began her legal career as an associate in the life sciences and healthcare practice of a national law firm. Prior to joining Amazon, she was a regulatory attorney with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration where she focused on regulatory policy development, compliance, and enforcement.

Ms. Abdul-Majid earned her law degree at the Georgetown University Law Center. She also holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Maryland. She is a presenter and published author on topics such as regulatory oversight and legislative developments affecting healthcare products and drug and device supply chains. Ms. Abdul-Majid has also been an adjunct professor with University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and a visiting professor at the Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. She is originally from Washington, D.C. and, when not helping Amazon move the flywheel through customer obsession, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and four children.
