Kim Rucker has been appointed Senior Vice President and General Counsel, and is a member of the Executive Committee at Avon, a leading global beauty company. Ms. Rucker comes to Avon from Energy Future Holdings Corp., where she served as Senior Vice President, Secretary and Chief Governance Officer since 2004. Previously, Ms. Rucker was Counsel, Corporate Affairs at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, and rose to partner at Sidley Austin from 1993–2001. An honors graduate of the University of Iowa, Ms. Rucker earned her J.D. at the Harvard University School of Law and a Master’s from Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government while serving as a Research Assistant to Judge Stephen Breyer.
