Hispanic National Bar Association Board of Governors

Daniel Mateo, a partner in the Princeton office of Reed Smith LLP, was elected region III president of the Hispanic National Bar Association’s (HNBA) Board of Governors. HNBA is a non-profit, national association representing the interests of more than 25,000 Hispanic American attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students in the United States and Puerto Rico. In 2004, HNBA named Reed Smith Law Firm of the Year, based on the firm’s ongoing commitment to diversity and its support of HNBA.

Mateo focuses his legal practice on both complex commercial litigation matters and products liability defense. He earned his juris doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Rutgers University. Mateo has long been an active member of HNBA, and served as an honorary co-chair of its annual convention in New York City in 2004.
