Bettina Yip has joined the law department of Del Monte Foods as associate general counsel. She will handle all labor and employment matters for the company. Ms. Yip has provided advice and counseling to the company’s human resources department on a variety of topics, including the Family Medical and Leave Act, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, leaves of absence, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, payroll issues, Fair Labor Standards Act, sexual harassment, and other state and federal laws. In her new role, she will also manage employment litigation, mediations, and labor arbitrations. She received her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, and her B.A. from Wellesley College.
