Greenberg Traurig’s Commercial Litigation Practice is skilled in business dispute litigation and has wide-ranging experience in corporate governance and compliance and with issues which typically arise in business disputes. We have litigated issues of first impression. Our team comprises experienced trial lawyers who understand broad business implications and can draw on the firm’s multidisciplinary teams in industries such as financial services, accounting, insurance, real estate, eDiscovery and entertainment to devise creative and efficient strategies. Our client base is diverse, and we regularly represent national and multinational corporations and national and locally based law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, advertising agencies, architectural firms, and artists in disputes, mergers and acquisitions and liquidations, and before regulatory and self-regulatory organizations. Litigation attorneys in Sacramento also assist and represent clients in matters involving the Firm’s Government Law and Policy Practice as well as the Special Investigation and White Collar Practice located in the Sacramento Office.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience analyzing, researching and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues on complex litigation, ranging from state and federal court motions to dismiss, summary judgment and class certification motions, writs and appeals;
  • Successfully argued motions;
  • Taken and defended depositions;
  • Trial preparation experience;
  • Solid writing skills;
  • Ability to be strategic and analytical;
  • Experience overseeing and mentoring junior associates; and
  • Case management experience.

Law Review experience preferred. Candidates must have solid academic performance from a top law school and be in good standing with the CA State Bar.
